Regular visitors will know that this site began as a method of supplementing the learning of my pupils - demand from other visitors has led to the site growing to a point where a complete re write was necessary; so apologies for the delay (it's a lot of work) but I know you'll agree it was worthwhile when you come inside and see all the extra information and advice that's now available.

The new getting started section is for those of you who need advice on how to get your first driving licence, how to choose a good instructor (and if you're learning to drive in Hull I'll give you advice and guide you to some good driving schools even when I haven't room for any more pupils). This area also has a resources page which shows some of the products on the market that you may need to help your learning.

You'll find the tutorial section invaluable in supplementing your driving lessons. If you're a learner driver in HULL we'll be going through all the driving tutorials as well as the rest of the Driving Standards Agency approved driving syllabus. The driving tutorials cover everything from how to start to car to successful manoeuvres, driving on dual carriageways and much more.

After working hard in your driving lessons and using the driving tutorials to help you learn to drive you'll be preparing for the driving tests - this section explains all about the Driving theory and practical tests as well as the show me, tell me, part of the test. I'll show you how to overcome your nerves and what the driving examiner is looking for. When you read this section you'll realise the driving test is simply a chance for you to demonstrate that you're a safe, confident driver - it'll be a breeze!

Congratulations - you've passed your test. Now's a good time to read about pass plus and learn about all the things you haven't had time for so far. This section is a must read if you want to find out how to get cheaper insurance, learn about driving at night or in bad weather and how to do simple maintenance tasks on your new car. This site will have been helpful throughout your training so  don't forget to tell your friends all about it.
