If we are going straight ahead the procedure is very similar to that used for turning left - your actions on coming up to the junction will be the same but this time when you are looking at the junction you must extra attention to traffic on the main road.

When we looked at turning left we said that we should not emerge if we would cause traffic from the right to slow down or change direction - this time the same holds good for traffic from the left and the right on the main road.

Again you would have priority over traffic emerging to turn right from the road ahead but don't assume that they will always give way.
